Allegro Celebrate 1 Year of business with local supporters and staff that came together during the pandemic. Bringing a new flavor of love for Valentine’s Day.
SAN DIEGO, CA – Starting off the New Year in positive spirits, Allegro celebrates its 1 year anniversary. The family-owned restaurant opened its doors on Valentine’s Day 2021, amidst the looming pandemic disrupting everyone’s lives.
Allegro is located in Little, Italy – a chic, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood in downtown San Diego. The quaint restaurant is known for its trendy cocktail Aperol Spritz, the Lemon Garden, and the world-winning cheese wheel.
The Italian restaurant was able to overcome many challenges during the time of the pandemic,– including restaurant closures from rising covid cases, outdoor service requirements, increase in sanitation equipment with updated cleaning procedures.
Staffing was particularly difficult to achieve, thus the family of the restaurant pitched in to fill in various positions of the restaurant to keep the business afloat. Local supporters still came to dine in the Italian restaurant (outside patio or carry-out) to continue patronage and keep the doors open.
Now that the fog of Covid has cleared, Allegro is ready to bring to the community a NEW Flavor of Love! To celebrate the achievements of the past year, Allegro invites their local supporters to a VIP Complimentary Event on Feb. 16, 2022. This event will include live music, complimentary dishes from the menu, cocktails, and a raffle to receive door prizes. It’s important to celebrate with the people who were there when things were uncertain, so this is Allegro’s way of saying Thank You and welcome to a NEW and BETTER Year!
